OFFICIAL RULES
This contest is sponsored by School of Humans.
The contest is a skill-based treasure hunt. Participants must use clues provided on the podcast to determine the location of a hidden clue card. The first eligible participant to submit a correct response to the final clue and a photo of the clue card via email claims the prize.
No purchase, payment, or subscription is required to participate or win.
Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of participation. Void where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Sponsor are not eligible.
The contest is open to eligible participants residing in any of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, subject to applicable law.
Participants are solely responsible for all costs and expenses associated with participation in the contest, including without limitation transportation, lodging, meals, internet access, and any other expenses incurred in attempting to locate the clue card. Sponsor will not reimburse any Participant for any such expenses.
How to Participate
Participants must listen to the designated podcast episodes and independently analyze, interpret, and solve the clues presented throughout the episodes. Using reasoning, deduction, and problem-solving skills, participants must determine the location of the hidden clue card. After locating the clue card, participants must correctly solve and answer the final clue or challenge appearing on the clue card and submit the required response, together with a photograph of the clue card, to the email address – hello@heistclubpod.com
Winning depends entirely on the participant's ability to correctly interpret and solve the clues and complete the required tasks. Chance plays no role in determining the winner.
Prize
One prize consisting of $500 USD. Payable by VISA giftcard, Venmo, CashApp or wire.
Winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with receipt of the prize.
Contest Duration
The contest entry period opens June 3, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. ET and closes on July 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. All eligible entries must be received during this period to be considered. Entries received outside of the stated contest period will be disqualified.
Winner Determination
The winner will be the first eligible participant whose submission is received by Sponsor, as determined by Sponsor's records, and who (i) correctly solves the clues, (ii) physically locates the clue card, (iii) correctly answers the final clue or challenge contained on the clue card, and (iv) provides all required documentation requested by Sponsor. Sponsor's determination of the winner and the order of submissions shall be final and binding.
Sponsor may require the potential winner to provide proof of identity, age, eligibility, physical possession of the clue card, and any other information reasonably necessary to verify compliance with these Official Rules. Failure to provide requested verification within the time specified by Sponsor may result in disqualification..
Prohibited Conduct
The clue card is displayed in plain sight; it does not require digging, climbing, trespassing, or damaging any structure or property to retrieve.
Participants may not trespass on private property, damage property, or violate any laws while participating. Any participant who engages in illegal or unsafe behavior will be disqualified.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the contest, interferes with other participants, provides false information, attempts to circumvent the contest rules, engages in unsportsmanlike conduct, or otherwise violates these Official Rules.
Safety Disclaimer
Participants search for the prize at their own risk. Sponsor is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred while participating in the contest.
By participating, each Participant releases and holds harmless Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, injuries, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
Publicity Release
By accepting the prize, the winner grants Sponsor permission to use their name, likeness, and story for promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
Right to Modify
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest if unforeseen circumstances compromise the integrity of the contest.
Limitation of Liability
The contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to the contest shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
General Conditions
By participating, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.
This contest is intended to be a bona fide skill-based contest. No purchase, payment, donation, subscription, or other consideration is required to enter or win. The winner will be determined solely based on successful completion of the skill-based requirements described in these Official Rules, and not by random drawing or chance.
